Max Winer's Yiddish Works
Max (Menachem Mendel) Winer (approx. 1898 - 1991) was born in Chernetzky Gora outside Kielce, Poland where he worked as a salesman for Wissotzky Tea. He emigrated to Canada with his wife Esther and family in 1933. There he worked at several vocations including Upholstery and Ladies Wear. His passion however was for Yiddishkeit, the Shul and his penchant for writing.
